The Northern Ireland Investment Summit, taking place on the 12th and 13th of September 2023, is hosted by the Department for Business and Trade in partnership with the Northern Ireland Office and Invest Northern Ireland.
The summit offers a significant opportunity to demonstrate Northern Ireland’s innovation and technological strengths to around 200 investors from the USA, Middle East, Europe and Asia Pacific.
The summit builds on the Windsor Framework outlined by the Prime Minister earlier this year and the UK government’s programme to create a sustainable and inclusive economy in Northern Ireland, boosting growth and generating higher-paying jobs for the local community. The implications of the event are already being shown, as professional services firm EY announces 1,000 new jobs in Northern Ireland over the next five years.
Speakers at the event will include Business and Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Chris Heaton-Harris, Housing and Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove alongside US Economic Envoy to Northern Ireland Joseph Kennedy III and a range of industry experts including David Livingstone, Chief Executive Officer for Europe, Middle East, and Africa at Citi.
Inbound Investors is a yearly event hosted by Catalyst, an independent, non-profit science and technology hub focused on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in Northern Ireland.
Taking place on the 14th of September 2023 at Titanic Hotel Belfast, the event offers a platform for high-growth potential Northern Ireland companies and investors from outside Northern Ireland to connect.
At last year’s event 50 NI companies matched with investors, 50 venture capitalists attended and 300 meetings took place - with success building every year.
